The little dog had to be put down yesterday. She had three seizures just that morning. Then she had one on the way to the vets. I hate this. Once again, I’ve had to do the dirty deed myself.
This morning, the kid finally shows up. Just long enough to take his dog, a carrier and various toys and cushions. This leaves poor Q alone with no other dog and she’s real upset. I’ve tried to make her feel better but she and Chico have been together for a LONG time. It’s like the cops came and took your hubby or wife away.
I don’t know what else to say. I just hope that Jr. comes through with a home for QTip.
I get the feeling today that no one, and I mean no one, gives a shit what happens here.
The old girl’s up north living the life of reilly, the kid’s somewhere…who knows where. He was supposed to be here.
The rest of the family is in massive turmoil right now because of one of my nieces divorcing her hubby…long story, won’t get into it here.
Tried to get some stuff packed up in the basement and, sure enough, the little dog has a seizure. shit. So, I’ve had to play nursemaid to her.
From now until Friday, it’s crunch time for moving. There is so much crap and so little time.

Rooted on my alma mater in the IHSA football playoffs but they came up short in the semifinals. Quite the upset as they were ranked #1 the entire time.

Chris said:
Bwana, SC_Thor, SWAT, Wirelesspacket and I had an excellent conversation via Ventrilo the other night, discussing different Sci-Fi movies… what is good, and what is not. It was impossible for us to come up with a concrete “Top 5″ list. There are just too many good ones to pick from! Here is our list of videos that we all agree are excellent:
- The Last StarFighter
- Time Bandits
- Star Wars
- Equilibrium
- Blade Runner
- The Fifth Element
- The Matrix
- Labyrinth
- War of the Worlds
- Tron
- The Navigator
- The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
- The Explorer
- Operation Takedown
What are your favorites, and why? Can YOU actually narrow it down to only five favorites?
There is a video that goes along with this.
Can you think of your 5 favirote sci-fi movies?
My picks would be, out of the ones above:
These aren’t necessarily in my preference order. What are YOUR faves?
