Okay, here’s the explanation of the categories that I chose to use in the sidebar.

BLOGS These are blogs that I read regularly. I do have a LOAD of bookmarked sites that I check every day. I’m going to likely add them however I need to do a little checking first as to how to do it right.

MISC You’ll find different web sites that I check on occasion and think you’d enjoy.

MISC NETCAST LINKS These are sites that either offer assistance to netcasters, new and old. Some are tutorials, some are sites where you can get free stuff for your netcast.

NETCASTING RESOURCES Again, more resources for netcasters.

NETCASTING SITES This is where I’ll out links to places where you can have your netcast hosted, etc.

NETCASTS Yep, these are netcasts that I listen to.

SOFTWARE Software to help you produce your netcast.

TECH SITES Web sites that deal with technology issues and info.

I will say that these could change if I decide things just aren’t working too well. but, until then, check out the links.

Getting used to WP

Yeah, it’s a different animal but it appears that this is a WHOLE lot better than Blogger of late and unlamented memory.

Sheesh.  I was on that platform for YEARS and never had a problem until now.  OWELL.

Hope ya liked the video of the scream..I thought it was funny.

Organization! And an update

I’m doing my best to get the sidebar better organized. I’ve added a bunch of categories for the links on here. If I find any more good ones, I’ll be sure to post it.

I posted a day or so ago about John Force and his wreck. He’s got pins in his ankle to stabilize it so it will heal right and also in his wrist, which was severely dislocated. The reason John survived that thing was the work that NHRA has put in for safety of the drivers, as well as John’s own research and work to improve the safety of the car after Eric Medlen was killed during testing earlier this year.

Adios Blogger

After too many hours wasted trying to get the thing to work right, we are now officially on wordpress.com.

The blogger blog is gone.

Oh man!

In case you don’t follow drag racing, yesterday John Force, 14 time champion of Funny Car had a horrific crash involving Kenny Bernstein.

John’s condition is improving after surgery at Baylor Medical Center.

This is from nhra.com and is the latest update from Baylor: Monday, 1:30 a.m. Central: Good news from Baylor University Medical Center where doctors operating on 14-time NHRA Funny Car champ John Force were able to set his broken left ankle and determined that his wrist was not broken but just severely dislocated.

According to teamspokesman Elon Werner, doctors inserted three pins into Force’s ankle to set it, and also inserted three temporary pins to stabilize his wrist.

Force came through the surgery well. A full update will be issued by the team midday Monday.

According to Kenny Bernstein, John was awake and talking and asked if he (Kenny) got hurt. That’s typical John.

The irony here is John actually WON.  Watch the video and you’ll see Kenny go to the center line and clip a cone.  That disqualified him and gave John the win.  Unfortunately, John hit that cone and that’s what set this horror show off.

What’s going on here? I’ve moved the Blogger blog to WordPress.com. Why? Simple. Blogger went bf and screwed up a lot of things, namely the sidebar.

I’m currently working on that on WordPress so you might get a pop or two. It’s sad when this happens because it’s a LOT of extra work to get all the links I had on Blogger here. I’m trying to find an easier way to do it. Anyhow, that’s the update for now.

The Feedburner feed has been changed so that if you use feeds.feedburner.com/ttot you will get this blog and not the one on blogger.
